Vampire Knight 71 Raws
Sorry I've been so quite for a while, end of the month is always a hectic time for me at work. Apologies to everyone waiting for a response or an email from me, I'm working on it. :)
I did want to mention that the Vampire Knight 71 Raws are out - sort of. As far as I've seen I don't know that the Japanese raws are out there yet, but you can find the Chinese version in Islilen's post here. There is also a sort of rough summary translation - although as the author states, be aware that it's a translation of a translation so there's probably some loss happening along the way. Read Part 1, Read Part 2.

When the chapter is actually translated, I'll be able to form a better opinion of course, but right now from just looking at the scans, I'm feeling a little mleh about it. I mean, I like the idea of the Night Class coming back, and having Zero and Yuki both back at the academy again is cool, but other than that I feel like we're not really going anywhere right now, or if we are we're going backwards instead of forward.
I don't know, I'm probably being more critical than usual just because I'm stressed or something. I know there needs to be set-up in a story to get things into position, etc. and there's always going to be chapters that feel a little more filler than others, I guess I'd just really love to see more movement in the story. Although possibly moving back to the school means we'll be getting some soon, so it could be a good sign. :)
Anyway, I shouldn't really judge the chapter until I've actually read it, so I will wait and see, it might be more interesting than I expect. :)

The manga started with all of them at the school, I still remember my excitement and how I was drawn to the manga, I love that time so much and all. However, it's a surprise that they're getting back there again. Yeah, I also feel like we're moving backwards. But I have another feeling that the manga is going to its end!
It's hard to imagine Kaname would return to school too and we would see him in that white uniform again. I meant it does look beautiful, but now the feeling is 'that time is over'. Maybe he won't return...
I agree with Lenko, your stories are much better than the manga itself.

Im glad that Yuuki will see Yori again I wonder If Yuuki will be wearing a night class uniform cause she'd look better in it but she was pretty cool as a guardian I guess we'll see :) and yes I agree with Lenko too :)

Hey, I just wanted to say thanks for updating with VK stuff all the time :D I make sure to check your page often for news and stuff.
Also wanted to point out that an English translation is out now. I found it on mangareader.net

In relation to the person above me about the anime, I find it weird that i'm in aussie and i can't get VK on itunes, but they showed the 2 seasons, english on the 'free to air' TV, ABC channel. Could be wrong about itunes, but won't even come up on the aussie version. oh well, bit of random info for everyone (or anyone who cares)

Gwen: I agree, there's a lot of possiblity for a "full circle" kind of situation with them returning to school. I don't mind the idea of the Night Class restarting, but I guess part of me doesn't want things to just be as they were before, it feels like too much has changed, but then, it could be interesting to revisit familiar places under new circumstances, I guess we'll see! *blushes again and hugs* thanks!!!
