Okay, as promised, got a Secrets in the Dark update for you all! Thank you all for your patience and encouragement! :)

Chapter Thirty-Four: "Confrontation"

Monster length chapter this time. 30 pages in Word! :P Maybe that can help make up for the long wait. Starts out a little slow (although trust me that those parts are important in their own ways, as we'll see soon) but it heats up towards the end. At least one long awaited question is finally answered now, although I think many people have already guessed by now. There's at least one little twist yet left to it that has yet to be completely revealed though.
We're definitely about to go into some full-on heavy action sequences, so lots of action, whumping and peril next chapter. :) Oh, and I have to say thank you to Lo for helping prod my muse... ;) She's still MIA in Alaska or wherever, but at least I get satisfaction from prodding her with pointy sticks from a distance... LOL XD (Too much coffee for me yet again, obviously)
Well, I have to run. Darn it, I wanted to do a full fanfic update, but I've run out of time so it looks like it's going to have to wait again. Anyway, hope you're all having a great weekend! :)

OMG!! I cannot wait for the next chapter!! You are such a great writer!! I love the way you plot your stories! I loved the Zero-Kaname blood drinking issue in this chapter and hate how Nasser manipulated Kaname!!

As usual forgot to add some stuff in my review :)
-spoilers ahead-
That was a master stroke, bringing up Kaname and Zero's painful past, in a way that was twofold - you got Zero to get over one of his long outstanding fears and shyness (that part where any other vampire wouldn't have taken 5 years to wonder why their lover and bondmate was still popping pills was cute) and brought in a bit of lemony goodness in Kaname's biting and subsequent problem solving XD and reminded us of Yuuki's painful death and the guilt they both no doubt still feel so that wham! when Nasser said what he said and let Kaname feel that, whoa - it slammed right into us! Amazing, girl! You do action, drama and tension like none of us can ever aspire to :)

It didn't feel like 30 pages at all. I can't wait for the next chapter. There are so many questions...like...Will they kill Nasser? If so, then what will be the consequenses? At the most important...will Hanabusa survive? For what price?

So good! I read half last night, and the other half right before I biked to class, and omg it stuck with me even when my classmates were talking about Film Theories. So good. It left me wanting more. You write so vividly and I could see the craziness going down- especially the end. Oh and yay a Takuma mention :D

I agree with all the comments here, and advise you to start writing your own book ! Your stories are amazing and I can't help but to feel a little envious. I write poems , but long 20-pages filled chapters is a sure no no for me.
Zero is awesome here !! And I feel so sorry for Kaname to have finaly found out about the truth ...like that ! *pokes Nassar in the eye*

sorry for the beyond late comment!! rl's been a bit...hectic to say the least! just letting you know that i've read the chapter (as always) i LOVED it (as always) and i cannot wait for your next update! (as always) haha. I love what you've done with these two...they've developed into amazing amazing characters. I'm kinda glad that everyone knows what Zero's capable of now :) i reallyyy want to see his powers begin to rival a purebloods cause of the hunter edge :D lol.
