New Fall / Halloween Theme
Well, I've been somewhat overdue for a theme change, so here's one I made for Halloween (and fall in general too, it's not entirely just Halloween specific - or at least that's the excuse I will use for why I'll probably leave it up even after Halloween ;D).
I had fun going for a kind of rich feeling with the design. I feel like there's a word that describes it more accurately than that, but it's escaping me... :P
The brush I used for the two little bats up on the left hand side was created by Sagakure, you can download them from her on Deviant Art here: Bat Brushes
The pic of Kaname and Zero I used looked like it was from a magazine spread relating to the Anime, I found it online and am afraid I don't know who scanned it originally, but thanks to whoever did. :) The lush, sparkly reds and oranges were perfect for what I wanted to do with this layout and the way Kaname's got his arm out works well for the banner I think. (LOL not like I'm at all biased or anything since I spent hours tweaking the darn thing... ;D)
The vines all around the pic are Zero's, of course. He and Kaname are decorating for something, see, that's why Zero's carrying the pumpkin too. :) Hmm... even though it's red, could it be that the rose in Kaname's hand came off Zero's vines? Maybe that's why he's cupping it so tenderly... ;D LOL and maybe that's why Zero is glaring at us for intruding on the moment! *is easily entertained by her own wandering little brain*
Aaaanyway... the other elements and textures are either mine, or I bought them from various digital scrapbooking kits.

Your new theme is beautiful. Love the pumpkin and the vines. Kaname n Zero looks yummy as usual,but they look somewhat distant with each other. just a thought. mayb they'd look closer if Kaname was on the left while Zero's on the right with Kaname's arm behind him. That'd be sweet! ^_^

Anon1: Thanks! :) You're probably right about the positioning, but that would have required me to totally cut them out of the background they were both on and move them around, and I was too lazy for that. XD And I liked the title being in the empty space above Kaname's arm too. That would be sweet the other way around though! :) *hearts*

It's so cute!!! Although they don't look as...whats the word...tender? towards each other as they did in the last. I'm assuming you were going for a different kind of romance.The backstory you gave them about them decorating for an event made it so adorable! And made me think of SitD. And made it look more domestic and cute! Well done!

*sighs dreamily* Yes, it's time for a theme change and gosh, it's beautiful, Vani! The Autumn-y hues are lovely, I adore Zero and his pumpkin (and his eyes that were turned to Kaname a second ago but are now glaring at us LOL), Kaname and his arm and rose (that he's cupping so tenderly :D) and everything! The crescent moon, the gems, the bats... *sighs again*
Oh, that 'rich' word, did you perhaps mean opulent or ornate or something like that?
Anyhow, it's lovely and the boys are lovely too! *glomps everthing and tries to hog a gem for herself* I'd much rather hog Zero but I don't want Kaname to pout or kill me or anything :D
