Ah, so there is a reason why you've not been online the past couple of days, Vani? :D Like we mind at all... OK, going to check out the angst, pain & rain extravaganza now!!

LOL well actually the reason I've not been online the past couple days was because it was Labor day weekend, and my friends dragged me out on Sunday. Then Monday I had off from work, and there were extended visiting hours at the hospital, so I got to spend almost the whole day with Ken. :D He was doing good enough to go outside for a little while, so we did a little 'picnic' thing in the hospital's... uh... dunno what to call it. Their little outdoor thingy.

Well, I don't know what to call it either but I'm glad you both did that, it sounds great :D

As for Ch18... I love it! Thank you for mentioning my name *prostrates herself* - you took 10 words and created a meaningful, bittersweet, painful scene that everyone wil love. I sure did! *tries to glomp onto Takuma but is kept back by Shiki's blood whips*

It was still painful and angsty (and rainy - yes, now we know why) *squeals* you sure know how to plan, don't you - but I feel I could breathe this time... and you redeemed Kaname so much in Ch18, I hurt for every single pain he felt. In the library, beside the wall, in his room, even by the car... *big sigh* Yes, honey, you go find the one person you cannot live without.

I really love this series. You captured the emotions from betrayal and hurt so well that I was literally gripping my seat while reading ch 17 & 18.

I am looking forward to the next chapter with bated breath.

I know that angst is necessary to develop the charaters and advance the plot BUT my heart is breaking for Zero for hurting so and for Kaname and his inner turmoil.

As you already know, I love love love the new chapter. X3

That scene made me shiver, it was so lovely, so sad but so perfect. ;-;/

I'm so happy that you got to enjoy the day with Ken, by the way! Yay for longer visiting hours, and the picnic in the outdoor thingie sounds so lovely! It's great to hear you two could spend that time together, because time with one's loved one is always good, but when the loved one is getting better it's so much happier than just in the hospital room. :D (Err, that was so badly explained, but you see what I mean, it's much happier being able to go out feeling better and all. XD;)
