ooh! i love the new theme! almost a total 360 from the old one~ cause this ones white... and all that.. but i like the red roses in the backround and the "blood bonds" picture~ i actually have that picture as my album artwork for one of the Vampire Knight songs on my ipod :) the one with Zero's bare chest is hotter though ^_~ lol~

the pictures.. wow.. thats all i can say, my personal favorite is the Zero x Yuuki pic.. although i don't like them as a pair that picture is sweet! (btw i like Zero x Kaname & Kaname x Zero better, i wonder why? =P)

Omg, that pic of Ichiru and Zero is so bizarre...uhm. XD;;;; It's okay when they're tiny, it would be so cute the two in pajamas that way (though the chain is so wrong, Zero must be chained to Kaname XD XD), but huh, that pose and that clothing, at that age... DDD:

It sucks that whenever awesome new scans like that pop up on the net, we never know where they come from because they never have the magazine name on them, so it's harder to find and buy the magazine. XD *wants to collect*

About the first pic, yeah, I'm pretty sure it's official art, or at least I strongly hope. :X So far, I haven't seen yet any of the forums in the VK fandom stealing fanarts/reposting it without the fanartists permission (but then, I don't visit many ^^;), but that's unfortunately often common in other fandoms, much to the agony of fanartists worldwide. ;-;
Let's hope it won't happen to VK. ;-; *heart bleeds at all the art theft infested fandoms*

And I feel I saw that pic before too, but can't remember where...? (I'm positive it's not from the novel. Almost all the art in it is in sketch-like style, possibly because there was no time with the manga on the side, for Hino-sensei to draw additional detailed pics XD;; I think the novel art is actually mostly pencil sketches.)

It might be a page-side thingie from the manga, where there's a pic on the blank page before a new chapter starts...

Although I don't think that's Kaname. I believe it's Takuma. ^_^/

Having noticed that it was Takuma reminded me of the scene where Aidou and him interact more, and I immediatly spotted where the image came from. XD;;
*just picked right the volume she thought it was from, and opened right in the chapter she thought of, and it was there* XD;;; (If only I could use such amazing memorizing abilities for things that put food on the table or are at least remotely useful. *rotfl* XD)

The pic is from volume 6 of the manga. :D
Remember, when Aidou was asking Kaname questions and Takuma told him he was going too far, and not to push Kaname too much etc.? :D :D

For some reason, it hadn't hit me as much before just how close to Kaname's wrist Zero is holding that chain. Kaname isn't, but Zero is clearly, visibly holding Kaname's chain, right by his wrist.... *0* (By now, either you are fangirling as much as me, or you are staring at me like I'm a freak, hahahahaha. XD XD Is it just me who find that immensely hot and so utterly Zero x Kaname-ishly possessive and dominant?)

The lack of official yaoi between those two, added to the surprising amounts of fanservice is combining together to explode my brain and make me over-analyse any tiny thing. "They looked at each other in that page! Clearly they must have an affair NOW!!" XD;;; *lol*

Today, I realized I babble endlessly about Zero x Kaname so much that my husband was under the impression there really was yaoi stuff going on in the series. XD;;;; *rotfl*

I actually initially wanted to see if I could use that pic, but it was hard to manip because Kaname and Zero were at such opposite angles they wouldn't fit nicely into the banner. Thanks!


Sagakure: LOL yeah, I thought the Zero and Ichiru pic was a little different too, but given the way they have them posed, I think maybe they're going for symbolic. It makes you think of (well, okay, at least it makes *me* think of) twin fetus' in the womb the way they're laying, and the chain between them could be analogous to the fact that they have been tied to one another's destinies since conception. The fact that the one I'm assuming is Zero has his eyes open and the one I'm assuming is Ichiru has his closed also kind of hints at the way things happened betweent them, with Zero absorbing his brother's power. Just my supposition on the topic though. Don't get why they're in their pajamas though. LOL

Ah, volume 6, well that would explain why I didn't really recognize it, though I've probably seen it online before. English version is only up to volume 4 and I don't think that pic made it into any of the scanlations.

LOL it's actually Takuma? Okay, that's funny because I could still swear that really looks like Kaname. But it's cool as Takuma too. :)

Thank you!!! I'm so glad you like my new layout! :D LOL um, actually, it probably didn't strike you before that Zero was holding Kaname's chain like that because in the actual picture he's not. I put it in his hand when I layed out the banner. Kaname and Zero were spaced too far apart to fit nicely on the banner in the original image, so I maniped them in Photoshop to be closer together, so now Kaname's actually got his head pillowed on Zero's arm and Zero's holding the chain right by his wrist. (XD Oh yes, you *know* I had fun doing that...) I moved Zero's other arm down a lot closer to his body and repositioned it as well so that I could get his chained wrist in the pic too, and I re-did the entire path of the chain between them. I'm really, really happy that it's not obvious at first blush that I modified the image. :D

I've since poked farther and realized it was apparently a foreign release of volume 6, btw. :D
The page number is a tiny bit off compared to the japanese number, but the stuff behind is the same. :) (Foreign releases normally have the same contents, but sometimes there are extra pages, or less pages if the original had white pages, and so on).
Europe and the US seem to be behind, so I'm assuming that perhaps it's a Chinese release. :)
