Five Hundred Miles, Fanfic and a New Theme
Okay, finally got that update for my Vampire Knight fanfic Five Hundred Miles that I've been promising for a while finished and posted! :) To be honest, in a way it's taken me longer than usual because I've been trying to figure out if there was any way to fix some pretty embaressing errors I made reguarding the setting for the story... but there's just no way without tearing the story apart too much. :P Ah well. Thanks to everyone for suspending their disbelief. :)
Five Hundred Miles (Kaname x Yuki x Zero) has been updated with
Chapter Six: "A Bloody Web"
Also...
AgateLinks has updated her story "Hourglass" (Kain x Ruka) with Chapter Five
YenGirl has updated her stories:
"No Matter What" (Aido x Yori) - Chapter Five
"AU Scenes for Crimson Door" (Kaname x Zero) - Chapter Five (OMG *DROOL*) ;D
(LOL there was a lot of chapter fives being posted this week!)
Also, I felt like it was time to change my blog skin / theme again, so I've created another. :D Ooh, they're in dress clothes again... ;) Hope you like!

I love the blue and pink look... and Kaname looks like he's just glancing to his left to see where his darling Zero has gotten to... *happy sigh*

:D Well hopefully the chapter wasn't too sucky at least. :)
And thanks!! I'm so glad you like the new look. :D *giggles* you're right, that's exactly what it looks like he's doing...
Kaname: Zero, what are you looking at?
Zero: all those weird people out there, I can't figure out what they're doing... *squints quizzically*
Kaname: *follows Zero's gaze and raises his eyebrows* Oh *them*... you don't want to know, Zero, trust me...
Zero: Hey what's all this writing down here... *looks down to read blog posts before coloring up in shock and embaressment* ... x_x
Kaname: I told you you didn't want to know.
LOL! :D

Waaah~! Your fic updates always get me glued to the screen!<3
It was absolutely wonderful, and the vampire fighting was awe striking too! A great action scene, and believable too in the way everybody fought, both the vampires and the guerilla.
Poor Kaname! But yay that we get to see Zero protecting him longer. The part with the level E attacking Kaname was also perfect. Go Zero!! XDD *cheers for his defense of Kaname* X3<33
*utterly loved it all*
Now I'm going to be counting the days for the next chapter again. XD
Unrelatedly, I sent you a terribly rambly long e-mail 2 or 3 days ago, with the drama CD files we had talked about. Don't worry if you just didn't have time to reply to it, but I just wanted to make sure it had arrived, because sometimes e-mail plays tricks on me and fails. ^^; But take your time, I just wanted to make sure it had arrived fine. :D
I love the new blog skin too, it's pretty! :D<3

agatelinks: Thanks!! Yeah... I like those pics too... LOL yeah, somehow they make lace and ruffles look *so* good... ;)
YenGirl: Darn they sure can run fast, can't they?! *giggles* Yeah, I think he has totally given up on us... ;D
Sagakure: Thanks!! Yup, we get to see Kaname-needing-protection a little longer... ;) Glad you like the new skin too!
Yes, I did get the mail and the files, thank you SOOO much!! I'm working on a reply, I just haven't had time to finish it up yet *scowls at work* Sorry about that, but I will very soon. :D

Shot in the head?! OH my GHOD O_x... you never make it easy on them, don't you? -__-
I like Ramon^__^ And his simple "Ah, the... creatures I can use. Grand!" Oh yeah, he's a badass with style^^ i see him talking business with Kaname or Takuma^^
Aido is cuter and cuterXD And, shame, I almost forgot about YuukiXD Swear, she showed up and I was like "Oh, that's right, she's still in this story!"
But... no wamps known in "Brazil"? Ppl don't know about them there?

June 12, 2008 3:19 PM
LOL nope, I never do...
*chuckles* and yup, that's Ramon all right!
Well I'm sure they know stories about vampires there, just like we do everywhere, but nobody thinks they're real, so they just haven't mentally put that name with them. Salvaje with his wild ways and degrading sanity would probably actually strike someone more as a werewolf even (although without the, uh, wolf part!) than the current, classicly portrayed image of a Daracula style vampire. Kaname and Zero under normal circumstances fit that bill much better... but they're not seeing them under normal circumstances. ;) So Ramon's first instinct is to look for 'logical' explinations for these 'creatures'. :D

well, still I think that Southern American folklore would place creatures like Salvaje (by the way, great name! I love it^^) somewhere, afterr all Dracula-styled wampires are clearly European idea, and not very old idea at that (for example in my part of Europe folklore made wampires VERY different from the Count^^"... not to mention that besides them A LOT of other things drank blood^^)
But that was just my tiny thing about folklore^^"
And one thing - when Ramon thought about experiments and such, I thought "Yea, you can wish, dude!"XD

*slinks in and as she is suddenly spotted by them all she drops to her knees* All I can say is so sorry! I've been away on a vacation and haven't been able to get around to all the LOVELY-AWESOME updates! There are soooooo very many of them now too that I need to catch up on. *head spins* Not that I'll complain of course. *grins widely* I can't wait to get around to reading everything and then of course into into MASS reviewing mode. My fingers are itching to get at it already.
I can also say that *coughs and glances at Vani and Yen* that some of my own writing is now in the works a bit. So we shall see what becomes of it.
STILL, I shall be reviewing EVERYTHING pretty darn soon, so be prepared! *grins* Also I absolutely love the new theme you've got going on, Vani. How can we not love these two though in any image though, right? Heheh. I am more partial to the hues of blue and such though, so maybe that's why I love it so much, but yeah, I love it very muchly. ^.^
*is caught staring at the pic a little too long and pales as the now-extremely-rabid-review-bunnies and newly born but equally rabid plot bunnies hop swiftly towards her forcing her to take off into dead run to get reading and reviewing and so on*

Thanks! ^.^ Well my trip overall was fine UNTIL my return flight(s). *dark aura descends around her as she glares and grumbles at American Airline anything* Sooo, I was supposed to come home yesterday night and all, right? Well, AA decided that wasn't going to happen. Oh no. First we got to the airport and found out our one flight was delayed. My mother and I were just sitting and eating some food when her cell phone rings and its AA telling us to get to a ticket counter or our gate in order to sort something out. Sooo, we find out that our flight in Houston is SO delayed that we were going to completely and utterly miss our connecting flight in Dallas. This is where the fun begins because we are told there are NO other flights out that day/evening so we'd have to spend the night and fly out the next morning (today). Sooo, we grudingly agree to that given that AA says they will pay for our entire overnight hotel stay at the Hilton nearby. Sooo, we take a shuttle over there, spend the night and get up to catch our flight at 11-something this morning.
Here the fun times started a rollin'. Mom calls the airline before we leave the hotel, to see if all is online, only to find out that our connecting flight is AGAIN cancelled. You can imagine our joy. However, there's a flight two hours later and we decide to take it. We get our few bags checked, go into the VERY long line at the security check, get up and find out we are both going to receive that special security screening (the one where they pull you aside, pat you down, go sniffing through all your stuff in a way that would make a Bloodhound proud, and so on), soooo we have to take our lovely time to go through that, given we have like 15-20 mins before our flight is supposed to board. Sooo, we finish like 5 mins till and book it to the gate... only to find out that THIS flight is delayed because of weather in wherever the plane is coming from. Sooo we sit in the terminal for another good hour or so and eventually we get on the flight when it arrives.
Then we get out at Dallas and I go check those TVs to see what gate we need to go to to catch that new connecting flight we got assigned to... and guess what, it was cancelled as well!! By this time my mood has plummeted to rock bottom, I don't feel so good, I'm hot, hungry and just overall pissed off.
Sooo we end up going to the gate where it should have been, to talk to someone and see what we can do. Lo and behold there's a long line of people who also need to do just that, buuut eventually we get up there, probably irritate that lady more than she wants or deserves, and she hastilly books us on a DIFFERENT airline which has to go through an extra stop before getting home. At this point, neither one of us really cares, we just wanna get home, so we take it. But of course, what's not coming with us? Our luggage.
The clerk tells out flat out there's no way it'll make it because we basically have like 10 mins to get halfway across the airport to another terminal to catch his new flight out. So we both run (with fairly heavy carry-ons) all the way to the tram, take it to where we go, get off and make it to the gate we need... only to see a mass of people waiting out there, the flight not really leaving on time there either because they need to shuffle people around thanks to a broken seat I think it was.
I really so feel sorry for those airline employees though. They had a rough day without a doubt. Anyways, so we wait in line to get out actual boarding passes (cause all we got from the lady are recepits and itinerarys) and wait, and wait... until we get up there as they start boarding the passengers. Luckily we get out tickets, all is well and we get on the plane and fly to the first stop. Take a break to get food, then catch the 'puddle-jumper' plane as I call it, a 19min flight home.
Yay! Finally home, except crap, we have no luggage. ARGH! So we had been told that maybe it'd be on a later AA flight. So we wait for one coming in not too soon after we land. Of course IT was delayed so it was a bit late, but it gets there... lots of people waiting for luggage... bags and bags and bags go around and sadly not all of it gets claimed. I mean there was a MASS of bags they had to pull off the trac just so they could get the rest on.
But anyway, after waiting for quite some time, I find ONE of our bags made it through on that flight... but not the other TWO. Sooo, we find out another flight is coming in like an hour later. Basically to sum it up, we get picked up, go get our car, come back, wait for THAT flight and LUCKILY both bags made it in! Huzzah! Only 10:30pm a night. An entire day (and a half really) of airports and traveling and crap. Grah, how exhausted I was after all that.
But here I am, back home, finally relaxing before I go pass out and not wake up till like noon tomorrow. Heheheh. Needless to say, a VERY VERY Long day. And here yesterday we thought things weren't so bad and it could be worse. Well, it definately could and was worse. But, what can ya do, right?
Gotta go to work tomorrow though which stinks. Lost out on an entire free day. >.< But hopefully by the time the weekend rolls around, I can kick back, relax and catch up on things. ^.^
But yeah,I've got some story ideas in my head now. Might get them written out sometime soon, or at least in this near future. It'd be awesome for ya'll to read it for sure. I'll make to keep up the reviews too! I love reviewing works cause I know if I did write, I'd always want to know what others think, good or bad (even though I'd prefer the good of course ^.-).
Anyways, so that's my rather lengthy speel. Though my trip was very nice. Just not so nice today and yesterday LOL. Hope you all are doing good though. I'll be keeping up now!
*bunnies mob her suddenly as she finishes talking* Noooooo! Have mercy on me, please! *cries*

Whoa! Sounds like you had the homecoming from hell there! :S *hugs* so sorry to hear it. Only once have I had quite that much of a hassel with airplanes and connection flights and all. It was also actually the return leg of an overseas trip as well, which is ironic.
*hugs again* glad you made it back safe finally! Hope the rest of your week goes much better! :)
