Download Vampire Knight Anime with Subtitles

Yay! Not only have I figured out how to work torrents (with a lot of help - thanks Emese!) but the first episode has also been released with subtitles by the wonderful Shoku-Dan.

The download links can be found on their site on this page: Download Vampire Knight Anime Episode 1

ROTFL! I just had to laugh when I realized that that was ZERO that Aido was drawing nasty pictures of in class! *has a giggle fit* that was so funny!

And I like what Yuki said about looking into a vampire's eyes... :) :)

P.S. One of the Shoku-Dan admins was kind enough to just inform me that they also have the Opening and Ending themes available for download - AND they have the full version of "Still Doll" (the ending theme) which I have quickly downloaded and must say is a beautiful piece of music. I really like the cello music interlude in the middle, it's so pretty.

**small edit**
For ease of linking, I've put the opening theme and the expanded ending / Still Doll MP3 into one zip file which you can download here: Download Vampire Knight OP & ED

Yay! Congratulations on figuring out the world of torrents. Lovely system that it is indeed... well, when it works right that is. >.>

Anyways, yeah it was really nice to see the subs now. One part in particular that REALLY piqued my interest was after Yuuki took off from the Chairman. I can't help but giggle at the Chairman's portrayal in the show. So perfect! Hehehe, especially when he just sort of flops over the table and starts crying until Yuuki calls him 'Father'. Anyway back on track, after Yuuki runs away and ends up (I'm assuming) around the Academy or the Moon Dorm... must be the Academy since the Night Class is in class, but yeah, when she stops by the pillar and has that flushed look about her and then touches her neck while talking about Kaname. That motion alone really got me wondering some things cause I really liked it. I'd like to assume it wasn't just because she was out of breath from running either. I sense something implicit and that's quite cool.

Can't wait for episode 2! *squeels for a moment, then spots shirtless Zero again and zooms off after him*

- Rikali

LOL yeah, the chairman was done very well! *chuckles*

YES! I liked and found that part with Yuki very interesting as well. I was like: Hmmmm.... ;)

Can't wait either!!

Hey. :D This is the admin from Shoku-dan. I just wanted to let you know we've uploaded the OP/ED songs, as well as the full version of the ED (still doll). So feel free to head on over, download them, and put the links up for yourself. ^^

Cool! Thank you so much for the heads up and for stopping by, I shall definitely do that!

I noticed something when reading the lyrics for the transliterated version of Still Doll (TV Version). And what I noticed was that there was a common mistake that many of us make when listening to foreign songs, even English songs sometimes.

Is that we tend to presume what we hear by ear is the exact same thing on the song we are listening to. (NOT ALWAYS THE CASE!)

*clears throat*. What I mean by that is when I was listening very closely to the first line for Still Doll...the subtitles showed the following: "I miss Alice". It's actually not that. I'm sure the subbers at shoku-dan know as well but...I already made a post on the opening/ending thread on the anime section of VK.

(Sorry again if I'm reiterating what I said on that post.)

I'm not criticizing the subbers, they did a really good job on the subbing part. It's just...I kind of have a suggestion. I could talk with a friend of mine who has been teaching himself Japanese for as long as I can remember and ask him in regards to the translations and such. Then I can probably make a section somewhere on the forums in regards to the songs themselves.

Thanks for commenting. :)

Yeah, I wondered about that part too... I've seen it translated "I'm Miss Alice" "I miss Alice" and other ways, and I've listened to it about a dozen times, but I can't tell either, it does sound like what she's saying, but it could be completely different. (This from the girl who wondered why the heck they were saying "marry me, marry me" in the 30 Seconds to Mars song "the Kill" until I looked it up and found out they were saying "BURY me"... *snickers*)

Only the official lyrics would tell us for sure I suppose. But if you and your friend come up with another translation, please let me know, as I would really love to hear it! :)

I'm sorry (and I fel like an idiot asking, since everyone sounds like they've found it), but I can't find the OP /or/ the ED on Shoku-dan, and I really want it since it's so good T_T could you please tell me where on the site it is? I've been clicking everything and still haven't found it..thanks..

No, it's not your fault. Links move and change all the time. To keep a more permanent link available, I've bundled both the opening and ending into a zip file and uploaded them into my media space. You can Download it Here.
