Crimson Door - new chapter up (VK fanfic) : My Vampire Heart

Well, after a longer wait than I intended (so sorry) I finally got Chapter 18 of Crimson Door (My Vampire Knight fanfic) finished and posted on ff.net. I found a little pic that was definitely insperational in visualizing certain... parts... >:D I'm sitting here debating back and forth about whether it's okay for me to put it up here or not... but what the hell, it's not that graphic. :) Here it is.

So, yeah, that tells you a bit about the chapter. ;) It's mostly Kaname and Zero getting it on hot and heavy... which was a blast to write, but, uh...*crosses fingers* it's more graphic than I've written before so I'm a little nervous. Okay, more than a little nervous, but we'll see how it goes. Fortunately all the folks over there are so nice and encouraging. Don't know if I'd still be writing this story without all their kind encouragement and reviews. :) There's so many truly nice people in the world, you know? Sometimes we don't stop to realize that often enough I think.

While I'm talking about nice people, must send a big wave to my delightful reader in Hungary who was so sweet as to comment and let me know I'm not entirely talking into a vacuum here. *waves* Hi! Thanks!

LOL... of course... now that should scare me - people are actually reading this! Means it's probably only a matter of time before the men in the white lab coats show up trying to take me away... ;) Hey, as long as they have internet enabled padded cells, that's okay by me. I seriously wouldn't mind a little time away from my job right now, that's for sure!

Well, gotta go, the cat is making a racket - probably discovered another colony of wild, savage dust bunnies under the bed, or something equally life-shattering... *rolls eyes*

Wow...both for the pic, and the chapter of course....It's not a bit surprising that you are/were nervous, but I'm really amazed by your writing skills...I would never be able to write or draw something like this..
And I'm sure there are more people who are reading your blog...I am just too chatty...
Yeah, and if someone ever tried to hurt you, I would punch them!
Okay...I won't tire you anymore...I just wanted to tell that you are still my favourite writer, and you always will be, and I am very grateful for your hard work!

About my reviews...I didn't know I can only post one for each chapter....I wanted to write about a lot more, but I needed to think about how to put it into words...The tears of the Headmaster, Kaname's actions.........the bite....it was very intense...and Zero's reaction when he heard what Yuuki offered to Kaname...sorry!!! I had to tell this to you! It was so touching that they can sacrifice so much for the one they love...And Zero's inner fight, between his two nature...it was both painful and exciting to read...

oh dearest, 'crimson door' is one of the best written fanfgics i have ever come across, and believe me, i had read more than my fair share of those. I so loved it that i've read it about 6 times now (and still counting. lol).. I hope that you'll make a sequel for it sometime (maybe if you have time)...keep up the good work!love you!

Thank you so much!! :) I'm delighted that you enjoyed the story! And yup, there are definitely sequels to "Crimson Door" including "Blood Moon" and "Five Hundred Miles" and a host of other little stories. Hope you enjoy some of those too! :)
