Waiting, Waiting...
Well, like all other VK fans who follow along through scanlations, I am impatiently awaiting the release of the latest installment, Vampire Knights chapter 33. It's published in LaLa magazine in Japan already, always is somewhere in the last week of the month, but I haven't yet found the raws for it, and of course the scanlated version won't be available until sometime next week or the week after. *sigh* Makes one wish they could read Japanese. Especially since every now and again when I come across a puzzling turn of phrase, I just have to wonder what was actually trying to be said there, and if it might not have come across differently in the original form. Ah well. Irritating thing is I actually have a friend who can read Japanese, at least enough to get by, but he's not into Manga, so I'm out of luck.
Another random thought brought on by the magazine title: La La in Chinese means "Grandma" (on the mother's side). La in Arabic means "No" and in French means "the". I wonder if it means anything in Japanese?
